    Join us for mimosas in the studio on Saturday morning and view the new 50th Anniversary Donor Wall, created to honor those who have supported BXO’s legacy and future.

  • Alumni Donation Class

    March 14, 2026- 10:00am

    Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance, 2315 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls Ohio

    Reconnect with your roots and each other in a fun and informal alumni dance class! Space is limited to 30 dancers and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis for donors donating at any level. We will send more information on the donation class later this year so stay tuned!

  • Backstage Tour of the Akron Civic Theatre

    March 14, 2026- 4:30pm

    Akron Civic Theatre, 182 South Main Street, Akron

    We will kick-off our time together with a tour of the renovated Civic Theatre. Rediscover the magic backstage at one of our most beloved performance spaces.

    Join us for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the beautiful balcony area of the Civic. Connect with old friends, past choreographers, and fellow alumni before the evening performance.

  • World Premiere of Aladdin

    March 14, 2026- 7:00pm

    Akron Civic Theatre

    Enjoy the premiere of Aladdin, an original ballet by Erich Yetter. Each alumnus receives two complimentary tickets to the performance. Before the curtain rises, we’ll share a short commemorative film: 50 Years of Inspiration.

Alumni Spotlight Series

As part of our 50th celebration, Ballet Excel Ohio is proud to introduce a new monthly Alumni Q&A Feature. Each month, we’ll highlight one of our incredible alumni, sharing their stories, memories, and how their time with Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet (CVYB)/BXO has shaped their journey.

We’re excited to kick off our Alumni Q&A series by featuring Lauren Stenroos, a CVYB alum whose journey in dance continues to inspire. From her time on stage with CVYB to her accomplishments beyond, Lauren shares her memories, lessons, and how her experience with the company helped shape her path.
